I’m simultaneously reading The Monster of Florence, a true crime depiction of Italy’s most heinous serial killer, and the first omnibus of The Vampire Diaries. It’s an interesting combination due to the fact that Monster gives a lot of back story about Florence, the Rennaissance, and Italian morals and mores, while the protagonist of Vamp Diaries is a Florentine Rennaissance man himself. I love coincidences like that!
In other book-related news: who’s excited for Friday night’s premiere of The Time Traveler’s Wife? I have a hot date planned with a box of Kleenex!
